Rumbullion
Rumbullion rum
Rumbullion Rum is part of Professor Cornelius Ampleforth's range of spirits, launched in 2011 by English website Master of Malt. Having enjoyed success with his Gin and Absinthe, the Professor has now moved into the Spiced Rums category. These spiced rums are the result of infusions of spices and/or fruit, and are often sweetened, making them an essential ingredient in mixology.
This Rumbullion is reminiscent of the rums of the British Navy, with the label featuring the tub containing the Tot (the daily ration for Navy sailors until 1970) inscribed with the words "The Queen, god bless her". It's a blend of Caribbean rums in which Madagascar vanilla, orange zest, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom have been macerated.
It is available in a 42.6% classic version and a 57% Navy version. Read less
