Much older than our French 75 , the gimlet therefore has just as much history and recipes to tell us. Its origin is even said to have been an equal part of gin and lime cordial .

Our Gimlet recipe
Method
Shake the ingredients with a shaker , double-strain with a shaker strainer and a fine strainer into a Nick&Nora glass then garnish with a dehydrated lime slice or lime zest.
Ingredients
Crush a lime zest in the bottom of the shaker
1 bar spoon of simple syrup
1.5cl of lime
6cl of Citadel gin
