In 2006, 2007 and 2008, this rum won a silver medal at the International Wine & Spirit Competition in London.
This packaging has become a collector's item, as the Haitian distillery presented its brand revival in 2022 through new presentations.
However, we must not forget this old version which has marked its history and which becomes unique since the new Barbancourt 3 star 4 year old rum changes to 43°.

Laurent's tasting notes
Pale gold in color.
On the nose, this profile is fairly discreet and light. Vanilla dominates, and a roasted impression is also felt. A hint of citrus and spice adds freshness.
On the palate, it's dry and, again, light. Aromas of vanilla, dark chocolate and alcohol (though not strong) are the main markers.
The finish is rather long, with an impression of vanilla alcohol.
