In Brazil, Batida refers to drinks made from alcohol and fruit juices.
Thoquino's Batida de Coco is made from natural extracts of coconut and Thoquino cachaça.
Serve chilled with ice or with pineapple juice.
Nico's tasting notes
In short: plain coconut - gourmet and sweet in the mouth
On the nose, coconut reigns supreme, and you can really smell the white flesh of a just-opened nut. It's fresh and natural, with no hint of alcohol. As the cocktail warms in the glass, the dryness of the coconut melts away and the aromas become rounder and rounder, so a single small ice cube will suffice.
On the palate, it's as delicious as a coconut and vanilla candy. The sensation is thick and sweet, almost like tasting a coconut rock or even a chocolate bar with a coconut heart. Once again, just one small ice cube will do the trick.
"A coconut delicacy..."
