Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2013 8 year old just like the vintage Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2012 is an unpeated single malt Scotch whisky from the island of Islay.
This is a terroir whisky made from malted barley from 7 farms in the west and central Isle of Islay. The farms are as follows: Coull, Rockside, Island, Mulindry, Cruach, Dunlossit and Sunderland.
Ageing took place in 75% ex-bourbon barrels. The remaining 25% were oak barrels that had contained French wine.
Bottling was carried out without cold filtering.
