This caipirinha is made in the Presidente Prudente region near São Paulo from Cana de Belem cachaça, whose herbal fragrances blend perfectly with lemon and cane sugar.
Add crushed ice and a slice of lemon: it's ready!
Nico's tasting notes
In brief: lime - sugar - cane
The nose has an air of powerful citrus, rounded out by sugar. This balance between sweet and sour comes straight to the nostrils, with force. The pulp and juice are more prominent than the zest, so the profile is more fruity than fresh or bitter.
On the palate, ripe, sweet lemon harmonizes with the nose, before cachaça enters the scene. Slightly alcoholic, it carries a pleasant flavor of lightly smoked cane or caramelized cane sugar.
The finish lingers more on the zest, with a slightly sweet sensation.
"A lemony caiprinha, just right, with a pleasant taste of cachaça..."
