This clairin produced by the Sajous distillery has been in a barrel that previously contained rum. To be precise, it was put in a barrel in July 2017 and aged for just under 2 years before being bottled in April 2019.
The SJ17HP cask was selected in Port au Prince by Christian Tang, the bartender at Kyros & Co. (Copenhagen, Denmark). This was on the occasion of the final of the Clairin World Championship 2018. Christian was one of the 7 finalists.
