Cut to the Smoke is one of the very first smoked rums on the market, with no artificial flavoring, and requiring over 2 years of research. It is a 3-year-old Jamaican molasses rum from the famous Worthy Park distillery.
The rum is distilled in a Forsyths copper pot still, then aged for 3 years in ex-bourbon oak barrels. One part of the rum is infused with Arabica coffee beans and natural tobacco extract, while the other is smoked with burnt American oak chips. The whole is then blended and rested in oak barrels to harmonize aromas before bottling.
