Dillon Ti Flé Blé is a limited edition AOC white agricultural rum from Martinique.
Enjoy dry or with a ti' punch!
Nico's tasting notes
On the nose, we find a cane of character, with notes of fermentation (a little iodized, like pickled vegetables) and pepper. It's also a bright, intense nose, where gourmandise quickly takes over. The cane juice is rich in spices (curry), sugar and ripe fruit.
Aeration further unfolds the rum, opening it up to citrus, with a little bitterness from the zest, like a ready-made ti'punch. This is an authentic rhum agricole from a rich vesou.
The palate is soft and fruity on the attack, making this rum very easy to enjoy as is. The cane takes possession of the taste buds in the mid-palate, with a balanced texture. It spreads its pepper flavors, always with a certain leniency. It's only a little later that the spices take hold of the tongue.
The finish gives way to notes of fermentation and a slight lime bitterness that lingers for quite a while.
"A lovely rhum agricole from Martinique, with an impression of terroir, character, but a very smooth texture on the palate..."
