This new edition of Hampden Estate Pagos rum is the result of a partnership with the famous Bodegas Fundador in Jerez.
The idea remains the same as for the previous version: to age a Hampden rum exclusively in prestigious 500-litre sherry casks.
After three years, the barrels containing the oloroso were emptied and sent to the distillery.
Hampden Pagos is above all a Jamaican molasses rum "high esters" produced with the following specificities:
- wild yeasts for fermentation,
- distillation in a double-tort copper pot still,
- spring water for reduction,
- complete tropical ageing,
- no additives and natural color.
The congeners content is 2304.2 g/hlap with 467.9 g/hlap of esters.
