Isautier 2006 l'Élise pays homage to the name of one of the last sailing ships used by the Isautier company for coastal cargo shipping. It was sailing ships like the Élise that enabled the Isautier family to spread their rum around the world, under the impetus of Charles' wife Antoinette, who took over the distillery after his death.
This 2006 vintage cuvée is made from column-distilled rum made from pure sugarcane juice.
This rum was aged for 15 years in a single ex-cognac French oak barrel. Tropical aging took place in the distillery's own cellars.
580 bottles were produced.
