P&M Single Corn Bio is an expression of whiskey made solely from corn. It is produced in Aleria by the LN Mattei Distillery which is located in the heart of Domaine Mavela.
The corn comes from plots managed in organic farming. The second ingredient, spring water, comes from Col Saint Georges.
The distillation took place in the distillery's 1500 liter A.Holstein still.
For aging, the cellar master selected new barrels. These underwent different heating profiles including CHAR 2 (light) and CHAR 4 (strong) heating.
Before bottling, the whiskey was brought back to 42°.
