Pusser's Gunpowder Proof Spiced is the replacement for Pusser's Spiced Rum.
As the name suggests, this is a "Gunpowder Proof" version of the Pusser's brand spiced rum.
This blend is made from Guyana molasses rums aged a minimum of 3 years in ex-bourbon American oak barrels. These rums are infused with a blend of Caribbean spices and flavors such as cinnamon, vanilla, ginger, chocolate and banana.
The precise degree of 54.5° allowed the English navy’s “Navy Rum” to preserve gunpowder. This was still usable even when soaked in rum.
