Renegade Single Farm Cuvée Lake Antoine is an expression of the Single Farm Origins range.
This collection is based on Mark Reynier's (creator of the Renegade project) reflections on the notion of terroir. This series consists of blends of rums distilled in pot stills and column stills, drawn from several plots all from a single farm. The rums are aged in French and American oak barrels.
This vintage is named after the Lake Antoine farm located in the northern part of the island of Grenada. It is made from a blend of several sugarcane varieties, mostly grown on the steep slopes of a volcanic crater lake.
Reduced to 46°, this rum comes from the combination of 25 barrels aged for a total of 702 days.
Details of the barrels and other information are available on the distillery's website with the code “SFCVANT-01”.
