Santa Teresa Claro is a rum from Venezuela's oldest distillery, specially designed for the international market. A blend of several cuvées of traditional rums aged in oak casks for between 2 and 5 years, it is an astonishing mix of heavy and light rums from the cellar.
To give it a unique character, Santa Teresa Claro has been charcoal-filtered. It is perfect for cocktails such as daiquiris and mojitos, as well as various tropical cocktails.
Tasting notes
Santa Clara Claro's filtration gives it a lovely golden color with light yellow highlights. The nose is slightly raw, but pleasant, with aromas of popcorn and vanilla.
The mouthfeel of Santa Teresa Claro is slightly sweet, followed by a woody note - surprising for such a light-colored rum. The whole is balanced by fresh notes of tropical fruit.
