Pauline's tasting note:
The nose is suave, almost jammy. Notes of violet sprinkled with ginger evolve into citrus aromas. A hint of iodine, accompanied by smoke, completes the aromatic unfolding.
The palate is unctuous. Smoke coats the palate, giving way to flavors of spiced caramel and tea leaves.
The finish is long. It lingers with notes of dried fruit and oily peat, a true Springbank signature.
