Worthy Park Oloroso 2013 is the seventh bottling in the Cask Selection series. The Jamaican distillery developed this collection in partnership with 1423 World Class Spirits, the Danish firm behind the SBS range.
This molasses rum is 100% distilled in Forsyths Scottish pot-stills. It spent its first 4 years in ex-bourbon casks, i.e. first-fill American oak. It was then transferred to the 1423 winery in Denmark for a further 2 years of maturation. Old Oloroso sherry casks (Spanish fortified wine) were chosen for this limited edition.
