Colonel E.H. Taylor

Colonel E.H. Taylor is a brand of Kentucky Straight Bourbon, distilled at Buffalo Trace in Frankfort. The distillery's origins date back to 1792, making it the oldest still in operation today.
At the end of the American Civil War, Colonel E.H. Taylor purchased the OFC distillery. This Old Fire Copper distillery was the forerunner of Buffalo Trace, and the colonel made numerous improvements and modernizations. This is what shaped modern bourbon.
