This single malt scotch whisky from the Benromach distillery is 21 years old. From the 2002 vintage, it is a single cask bottled brut de fût in 2023.
The malted barley is of the Optic variety and the peat content is between 10 and 12 ppm. It was aged in a first-fill bourbon barrel.
Bottling produced 176 units.

From Benromach, I had only tasted the 10 year old, a few years ago. But I immediately recognized the style (the rubber side no doubt) here we are on "heavy" (fortunately given the price) the rubber therefore, then the dried fruits, a marine side arrives then discreetly, then lots of other things... And I tell myself that I am perhaps not up to the task of appreciating it at its true value ;)
