El Pasador De Oro Pasion is made with molasses rums from several Guatemalan distilleries.
The French brand El Pasador de Oro transports fresh passion fruit to its cellars located in Charente. After cutting them by hand, the fruits are infused in El Pasador de Oro Gran Reserva 40° rum according to a very specific method. The result is a very fine and even more delicious rum.
Nico's tasting notes
On the nose, this is a rather seductive, well-rounded candy rum, with caramel swelling in the glass and bubbles releasing softly fruity aromas. The orange peel is quite oily, leaving long legs of fruit jelly in its wake.
With aeration, the fruit pastes become lighter, a little less concentrated, leading us to yellow fruit jams with mild spices, sweet but still very fruity.
On the palate, well-rounded passion fruit is enriched by orange peel flavors. Its slightly acidic aromas melt into the vanilla and caramel character of the rum, but never disappear, offering an uninterrupted indulgence.
The finish is very round but also slightly acidic.
"A rich idea, this blend of well rounded rum and fragrant fruit..."
