Plantation Rum 2010 Panama is part of the "TERRAVERA" collection. This series is a celebration of rum's origins, the culture and ancestral production methods of the regions represented.
No fewer than 22 casks of Panamanian rums from the 2010 vintage were selected by Plantation Rum brand founder Alexandre Gabriel. This rum was column-distilled from molasses.
This cuvée has benefited from the double aging process that is the rule at Plantation Rum. First, the rum spent 8 years in Central America in American ex-bourbon oak barrels. The barrels then traveled to south-west France. Aging continued in Javrezac for a further 5 years in 400-liter cognac casks made by Maison Ferrand.
Bottling took place in 2023, with no added sugar.
