Rum Artesanal Clarendon 2009 is a Jamaican molasses rum produced by the Clarendon (Monymusk) distillery, located in the south of the island.
The rum was distilled in December 2009 in a Vendome brand iron still. The initials EMB refer to the former Bog Estate mark. This means an ester content of 240-250 grams per hectoliter of pure alcohol. The rum was then matured for 12 years in oak barrels, until its release in April 2022.
German independent bottler Rum Artesanal selected cask numbers 258 and 259 for this bottling. A total of 738 casks were released, bottled brut de fût.
