This rum from the Beenleigh distillery is an exclusive edition of the “Magnum Series #2” collection. This series is the result of a collaboration between La Maison & Velier and the Magnum press agency. After Elliott Erwitt for the first edition, it is the turn of photographer Alex Webb to be highlighted on each bottle.
Founded in 1884, Beenleigh Distillery is located in South East Queensland, on the banks of the Albert River. It produces molasses rum using a double distillation process. The first stage takes place in a single continuous column still. Distillation continues in a copper pot still called "The Old Copper".
The 8 years of aging of this rum from the 2015 vintage took place in bourbon barrels.
