And hop, we change a few ingredients of the French 75 and head for the sun 🛫

I would normally recommend keeping the same method as for the French 75, that is to say shaken and served without ice to avoid too much dilution. But being in Lebanon in the middle of summer at the time of making the cocktail (I'll let you imagine the heat), a very brief and powerful shake, filtered on a nice ice cube , it was perfect to drink it in one go on a terrace.

My favorite places to taste it:

In Paris: in winter, nice and warm, or in summer, admiring the window that connects the bar and the terrace, take a trip to Combat .

Around the world / Around the world: simply in the sun during your next vacation, champagne can be replaced by sparkling wines from other countries such as prosecco in Italy, cava in Spain or even Cricova sparkling wine in Moldova.

Method

Shake ingredients in a cocktail shaker , double strain into a highball glass, add ice, top with champagne and garnish with a lime twist.

2cl honey syrup

2.5cl lime juice

4cl Rum distilled

Shaker

Lying down with champagne

Garnish with lime zest
