Bottler L'Esprit returns with this single cask selection from Brazil.
Distilled in column stills at the Epris distillery in May 2011, this cane juice and molasses rum has undergone a double aging process:
- an initial tropical ageing between 2011 and 2017 in Umburana (Brazilian cherry) barrels,
- and a second "continental" ageing between 2017 and 2023 (the year of bottling) in a single bourbon barrel.
This rum was not reduced before bottling in November 2023. Barrel #BB 101 produced 234 numbered bottles.
