Monymusk is a Jamaican distillery also known as the Clarendon Estate. It is located in the parish of the same name.
This rum was put into an old bourbon cask in November 1998. It benefited from an initial tropical ageing before finishing in Scotland, for a total of 23 years.
The mark targeted during fermentation and subsequent distillation is AHJ. It contains 627.9 g/hlap volatiles and 89.6 g/hlap esters.
This unique barrel, number 26761, was bottled in September 2022. With the angels' share exceeding 39%, the barrel produced 181 bottles.
This is a brut de fût cuvée, with no coloring and no chill filtering.
