The “Experimental Cask Series” collection consists of boxes of four 20cl bottles. Each box displays a theme in order to better understand the influence of casks and aging on the same rum.
Here the rum comes from the Jamaican distillery Worthy Park Estate. It comes from the 2021 vintage and was distilled from molasses in a pot still.
Each of the 4 bottles contains this rum with a specific aging. Here are the barrels used for each of the rums in this box:
- Spanish virgin oak cask – 63.4°
- Danish virgin oak cask – 61.6°
- French virgin oak cask – 63.6°
- American virgin oak cask – 61.2°
The rums are not filtered before bottling in August 2023.
