Duncan Taylor is originally from Glasgow and started as a whisky cask broker. The company then moved to the North-East of Scotland, in Speyside (where most of the distilleries are located). It was at this time that they launched their own brand.

Today, he has an impressive collection of rare whiskies.

Like many of his colleagues (Cadenhead, Murray McDavid/Renegade, The Scotch Malt Whisky Society...), he also ages rums imported from the Caribbean in his Scottish cellars.
