Opportune 1791 Panama is an old molasses rum from Panama. Opportune is an invitation to travel, through rums of all styles and bold blends.
Well-known for its strategic position with its canal, Panama is just as famous for its rum. Cane fields are plentiful in the province of Herrera. They are influenced by the sea, and benefit from fertile volcanic soils and mineral inputs from mountain springs.
Distilled in columns, this rum is then aged for 2 to 3 years in American oak barrels that have previously contained bourbon.
