Mezan
Mezan is a rum brand specializing in the research and marketing of vintages from Caribbean distilleries, offering authentic aromas characteristic of each region.
Mezan aims to promote "untouched rum". For example, all rums are packaged without added sugar or coloring.
The brand's cellar master, who constantly travels in search of real treasures, approaches historic distilleries. He also draws his rums from the heritage of distilleries that no longer exist (Caroni, for example).
With the exception of Mezan XO Jamaica, each bottle in the range comes from a single distillery, produced from a single harvest year, or vintage.
When a rum is judged sufficiently mature, it is packaged. It is then lightly filtered.
