Don Q Cristal is made from quality molasses diluted with water from the Río Inabón. A single strain of live yeast has been used by the distillery for 75 years.
After a 5-column distillation, it is aged in American oak barrels for up to 5 years, to acquire roundness and smoothness. Finally, it is charcoal-filtered to restore its clarity before bottling.
