Sugar cane is grown all over the world, as long as the climatic conditions are favorable. Many factors differentiate rums: the terroir of course, but also the specificities of rum production that are passed down from generation to generation: the yeasts used for fermentation, the type of stills, the aging method, the barrels, etc.
Through a video shot in Guadeloupe, Éric Judor takes us on a journey with his usual humor by presenting rums from the four corners of the world.
This “box” of rums allows you to discover the most emblematic of them.
This box actually includes 5 samples of 5cl of rums all mentioned in Eric's video. It is composed of the following rums (to be tasted rather in this order, the Jus d'or cocktail being rather drunk separately, at the time of the aperitif for example):
- Golden juice 26°
- Chalong Bay Rum 40°
- FAIR Rum Belize XO 40°
- Eminente Reserva 7 years old 41.3° C
- Mhoba Strand 101 50.5°
In addition, a 3 centiliter “sample” of a cask strength that we are particularly fond of is added to the list:
A gift box is offered to you to store or offer these samples as well as a tulip tasting glass to taste them like an expert.
